Although I haven't seen much of this 2004 calendar as of yet (it is after all only January 21st), I can confidently give it a five-star review.I was given the calendar as a gift since I am an admitted wine maniac. I already have a good deal of wine knowledge and can say that this author is not only very well informed about his wines (Richard Nidel is a name that I recognize from his articles for the Wine Spectator), but a very clever and witty writer. Each day you are presented with a thoughtful, useful, and enjoyable tidbit to savored all day like the sweet zang of a sip of Nero d'Avola! |
