I recommend this book wholeheartedly.
I read All My Yesterdays as a teenager and learned a great deal from it. Edward G. Robinson was a very cultured man and participated in many things in his life. Very well written. I remember he told about things going on in the world, around WWII, and the movie/theater business. Wasn't narsistic or teachy or opinionated, but a thoughtful sharing of his experiences. It was a pleasure to read. |
