OMG!! I'm retired Army (MALE) and I teared up while watching with my wife-sad that she had to die on the show due to her "real life" alcohol problems. I hope she get's the help she so desperately needs and has a support group. Too early to cast our vote on the "new cast members". But the reality is that we get transferred approximately every 3 years-so the show is true to Army life! Hope the show continues (with good scripts) as it brings back memories of our 23 years in the ARMY (my wife gets much credit as she was my ROCK during many tough deployments). Gotta love Army Wives!!!!

I was really worried after Claudia Joy died that the show would really suffer but I'm finally starting to like all the new characters in this season.

I spent 2 weeks watching seasons 1-6. Then I just HAD to go to Amazon to see the first 10 episodes of season 7, so I can start watching episodes as they air this Sunday! This series is absolutely addicting.

Do not have cable, and my sister has been watching for years, the ONLY show she watches faithfully, so I decided to get Season 1 to try. Well my daughter and I became so addicted that after the 2nd show, had to frantically purchase the others. My 1st husband was Air Force (20 yrs) so there was so much we could relate to, and at age 75, I really miss living in Base Housing. I live in a beautiful home in the country with my 2nd husband who retired from the Army, so military life is so familiar to us, and NEVER thought I would say I missed it. This show is so real, it shows the best and the worse of our lives. The good part, they stayed together, whereas I had to say good-bye to so many, but we all found another family, our 'military family'. We relied on one another, and shared in the best and the bad together. I can't wait to get season 7. I have heard it is the final season, and I really hope to hear that there will be more. I hope this erases any doubts that it is worth the time and money to purchase, I am so glad I did.

Loved Army Wives. Very upset that it ended. I think it depicted the Military family life as real as it could be.

I like the older cast better. they made it more real. Please bring back Roxie and Pamela. I am glad Denise is still on the show, but a big reunion will make the show even better.

This season started with such promise: a new set of characters to reinvigorate the daily happenings in the army wives community. The season starts with the memorial service for a dearly loved lead character and cameo appearances from some of the other main characters from the preceding 6 seasons. This was sad but the new characters, including Brooke Shields, were beginning to establish a new regime.

Unfortunately, it was all cut too short after 13 episodes.

For those who have watched the first 6 seasons, it goes without saying you will watch this end to a great series. The speed with which they raced through some of the story lines and the premature cessation to the season left me feeling a little flat.
