How often is a "classical music" album also fun? The musicianship and the composer's skills are very serious indeed, but the selections are so varied -- within one piece the listener will experience a wide range of feelings from amusement to poignancy/reminiscence (I think the title piece does so, beautifully). Borzova has a magnificant feel for cultural indicators in music. Allusions and influences abound, from near east to far east to religious to western popular genres. Recommended.
