The album is called "Allan Sherman - Live" Too bad Allan is no longer "Live" but the Album is a joy to hear. The vender was excellent. The CD arrived promptly and in excellent condition. I would not hesitate to order other items from this vender.

I first heard this as an LP when I was a child. I just loved the turn of phrases and the clever songs. Allan Sherman is the original Weird Al; he took topical songs of the 60s (A Taste of Honey, Makin' Whoopee) and parodied them. My personal favorite is Dodgin' the Draft. For me, the best part of hearing this again was realizing how many jokes I didn't get as a child!

I've been looking for years for this rare concert. I love Allen so even his 'not best stuff' is better than most. This is near the end of his brilliant, but tragic career and one can tell the magic is beginning to fade. Still, it has some brilliant moments which makes it worth while.
