one of a 12 volume series,
By
This review is from: Allegheny County, Pa. Cemeteries (Paperback)
This book is one in a series of twelve volumes. They are cemetery transcriptions of Allegheny County, PA. Each volume contains an index with cemetery name and location, last and first name of the deceased, year of birth and death (if available), and location of the grave within the cemetery. It does not have a map of rows and plots however, so it is difficult to find the gravestone at the cemetery using only this book. But if you're not sure where your ancestor is buried, you can find them using the books in this series and then contact the cemetery for further information. It was published in 1983, so don't search for people who died after that date.

This review is from: Allegheny County, Pa. Cemeteries (Paperback)
This is entitled Allegheny County, Pa Cemeteries, which is very misleading. It is actually
Volume 9 and only contains two cemeteries within that county, those being North Side Catholic Cemetery and Saint Paul's Cemetery. I am returning my purchase. |
