I bought these socks for my son who works in a kitchen and is on his feet all day. The socks reduce the pain in his legs due to standing for many hours. I wash them in the machine (I don't know if I should) and I don't think they're going to last very long. I will buy more if they wear out. I also like that they have a high cotton blend.

These are good stockings, but the shipping was too expensive from this 3rd party website.

Maury, generally swollen feet and ankles are not caused by dermatological problems. They can be caused by high blood pressure, congestive heart failure, poor circulation in general which can be caused by diabetes, heart problems, blocked arteries, and poor functioning kidneys. It could be caused by a dermatological condition such as an allergic reaction but this is unlikely. Saying the doctors office isn't open on weekends is a poor excuse. I think your health is more important, not a job, television, or a day off. This could be a serious condition that could lead to death. I think you should make time for the doctor.

The support socks supported my swollen calves. I would have wanted, and still want, to know the causes of the need for support socks, and what other treatment is available for swollen feet, ankles and calves. If the answer is to contact a dermatologist, I have done that, but their offices are closed on weekends.
