The Allen Buttstock Holder fits very snugly on my 12 Gauge Remington 870 Express shotgun. There is a little slack on the narrow end of the buttstock, but it probably would not have fit on if they made it narrower at one end. It holds five 12 gauge shells very securely. I didn't have any trouble getting them to fit.

My one complaint is that this holder covers the sling mount on the buttstock. I keep a sling on my shotgun for easy carrying, and I had to cut a hole in the buttstock holder to allow me to mount the sling. Once the hole was cut, it was still very difficult to get the sling attached, as the elastic is very tight at that point. I will probably have to go back and stitch around the hole I cut later on.

Overall a good product. I just wish they had taken the sling mount into account.

This product does just as I intended - keeps 5 shotgun shells readily available with my home defense shotgun in case of emergency. The holder fits nicely on the stock without interfering with holding or aiming the gun in any way. The shells are held securely, but can easily be removed for use. Good product.

The easiest installed and used shell access for the money. This fits a wide array of gun stocks as well as shell sizes. It allows quick reach shell manipulation for peace of mind. With only a turn of the wrist, your extra shells are at the loading fingertips. Same goes for left handed shooters, no different part number or installation. The question remains, which is the fastest, breech mounted or strong hand stock mounted loads? Ease of use and comfort says the butt-stock mounted will favor 99% of the time. Whether bird hunting or in a tactical push, only the open face plastic clip mounts are faster.

It is a decent product, but the stitching keeps coming loose. I had to repair 2 of the 4 divider seams.

This shell holder is made of elastic material. You pull it on your shotgun from the muzzle to the buttstock like a sock. It hugs the buttstock snugly. It is well made; I have no problem with the stitches. It holds five shot shells securely and that is quick access to additional ammo when you need it. It looks so cool and packs a whole lot of punch. I noticed the adoring eyes of the ladies when I was holding my Remington 870 with this shell holder. That alone is worth the price.

I would recommend this to any serious shotgun owners. I own a Mossberg 88 Maverick, and this buttock holder is perfect for it. My wife is very wary of guns, so this is my way of keeping ammunition close on hand. I do not keep my gun loaded, so I have 5 shells in this holder. This way, she is able to sleep at night and I am as well, knowing 5 shells are right there in case I ever need to use them (hope not.)

The holder fits snugly on the buttstock. The shells fit perfectly in their pouches, and are not too tight or too loose. Not only that, it makes your shotgun look a heck of a lot meaner with 5 shells hanging in a buttstock holder. Pull that baby out on your daughter's prom night, and her date will not touch her.

Shipping was fantastic, item was incredibly cheap. I would recommend this product to anyone, even if it was $10 more.

This stock shell carrier is great! Slips securely on the buttstock, shells stay put until needed, looks fantastic, and all for a super low price! Well worth the small amount to buy this shell carrier.

This shell holder does the job nicely. This is the second one I've owned. First one is almost 10 years old and the shells still are held firm. For the price there is nothing better. I highly recommend this product.

It doesn't look like the picture all straight and clean. It does fit snug and hold the slugs.

Surely thought it would throw the balance off a little more but suprisingly not bad. I don't plan on using my gun like a club unless I'm out of ammo, and if the ammo is gone hopefully so am I. One of the better survival things priced decent that I have gotten. Got one for my rifle and shotgun.
