A great way to keep dry in the woods.
I saw a fellow camper with this stool while overnight backpacking. After asking to tryout the stool, I was pleased with the size, sturdiness, and comfort. So I came home and found this on Amazon. Seat leans to much but is decent for the price
The seat is ok, I need to find a better way to carry it (possibly inside a backpack). It has a little to much "tilt" with the front legs being smaller than the back. This takes a bit of getting used to. It does the primary job I was looking for which was to keep my rear end off the ground during long sits.

I saw a fellow camper with this stool while overnight backpacking. After asking to tryout the stool, I was pleased with the size, sturdiness, and comfort. So I came home and found this on Amazon. I have used it extensively since. the stool is rugged and strong. It holds me (a big guy), even with my daughter climbing on my back. It is easy to carry and straps to my pack. It is not lightweight, so I would not take it on a long trek, but for weekend trips with short hiking distances or car camping, it offers a compact alternative to camping chairs and keeps me off the ground.

It's deer season and my husband was looking for a lightweight stool to carry that would be comfortable and low profile. After looking at the available choices I picked this one. He is very happy with it and says it is just what he was looking for. It is comfortable, light and easy to carry and sits well on unstable terrain. Seems well made and built to last.
