As with any thing strenght related. Some can use this some may not. Remvoing arrows from crossbow target made me reluctant to target shoot but this device has improved my attitude a little. It's still hard but no possible with out damaging the arrow. My sone still don't have the strenght but will soon.

Looked like a good idea, but this just doesn't work. Won't grip the arrows, then slips. Not worth returning, learn from my experience and save your money....

I Shoot on a archery range that uses stacked up carpet as tarkets. There were numerous time I struggled to remove my arrows till I got this puller. So far there is no job that this puller couldn't handle. Workes well pulling arrows out of my Block broadhead target also.

I have been using this consistently since i bought it, it is a handy tool to take with you to the range. gives a good grip and it is not slipery or plasticy. I dont take it hunting with me as it is pretty point less. though for shooting practice and in the range it works great.

i normally can pull my arrows out with good technique and two hands. This gripper comes in when that won't happen and if i only have a bit of the shaft exposed.
I use victory v1, v3, v6 arrows and my destroyer will put arrows very deep into hay bales or foam targets. This is the ticket and helps a lot. My wife uses it a lot so she doesn't get blisters on pulling arrows too.

I ordered this arrow puller to pull arrows from my target - and it doesn't work. There are two major problems:
1. It's greasy, the arrow just slides right through it no matter how hard you squeeze. 2. It's too narrow to get a regular width arrow into. It's completely worthless - I just threw it away. Poof - my money is gone. Don't bother with this one - I'm about to order another. Hey Allen Company - what a great idea... grease up an arrow puller?!?!

Works great on thicker aluminum arrows as well as thin carbon arrows. Grips really good; haven't had it slip at all even when pulling hard with both hands.
Completely reversible for left-handed people; even the quick-release retainer can be switched to the other end, or removed completely. One added benefit not listed: in really cold weather you won't have to grip those metal arrows with your bare hands. Keeps your hands just that little bit warmer.

A decent arrow puller,

I'm using Victory HV carbon arrows, and this arrow puller generally does a pretty good job of removing arrows I would otherwise be unable to retrieve. I've only encountered a few instances where I couldn't get enough grip on the arrow to remove it, and that was when the arrow was lodged deeply in a piece of wood. For 3D targets, wet or compacted bails of hay, this little arrow puller does a really good job. Can't really beat it for the price.

well its not the more expensive name brand ones you will see at the range but i dont care does the same thing the others do and works just fine. unless you want to spend $20 at the archery club go right ahead but i will keep my cheap one and not be so pissed this time when i loose this one, so i would suggest to go a head and buy one you got nothing to loose

What can I say? It works as advertised. My arrows are always buried deep into the targets and this little device gives just enough grip to pull the directly out.
