I ordered two of these and they are great. The clip that holds them closed is a little clumsy, but it holds secure. This carrier pouch is not ideal if you are planning on using it for tactical purposes. You will hate it! If you are like me and just need a place to carry 10 extra rounds secure and organized while hunting then this carrier is great.

This ammo holder worked as expect and provided a compact means to carry ten extra rounds. The elastic strap the buckle was mounted on would work its way out of the buckle almost instantly, but I remedied that by sewing it on permanently. You don't really need any adjustment in that strap anyway, if you're going to carry it fully loaded.

For the price you really can't complain. Even if you were to find something like this, which I didn't, at a gun store or even wallymart it would cost you 19.99. I am using this pouch on a "VISM by NcStar Tactical Shotgun Scabbard" and the snap-on straps fit perfectly. It opens quietly (no velcro), and holds the shells securely. The bottom half of the closing strap is elastic so if your holding 5 or 10 rounds, its all tight. If you want 10 rounds then this is the one for you. If however you feel you'll need 25 rounds, there is another one for that.

Nice small package for holding 10 shells of 12 gauge ammo. Elastic is sized to hold shells securely without being too difficult to insert shells.

Works well for keeping harmonicas organized and easily accessible. Having them laid out in two rows of five makes it easy to pull the right one out without looking.

It's a really snug fit. Smooth harmonicas like a Suzuki Bluesmaster or Hohner Golden Melody fit best, the ones with more sharp angles like the Marine Bands are the toughest, but they all still fit. Holds them in place so it doesn't feel like there's any chance that they'll drop out the bottom. You do need two hands to put them in, but you can take them out with one hand and some dexterity. And since harmonicas are bigger than shotgun shells, it's too thick to fold the two halves together and close it when it's fully loaded.

The belt loops have snaps to make it quick and easy to put it on your guitar strap if that's what you're into. It'll rest in place on your shoulder.

The construction is surprisingly high quality, especially considering how cheap it is. The only problem is the plastic buckle only buckles if have it lined up perfectly, which is slightly annoying.

Overall it's great. Just what I was looking for.

This was an 'add on' item that I decided to go ahead and get. Quick review, it's poorly made 'made in china' junk.

Overall, yes, this will hold 10 rounds of shells, but the elastic webbing that is used to hold the shells is 'loose' right off the bat and you can tell that any amount of use will end up with 'sagging' webbing that is going to not securely hold a shell. It is in fact 'silent' in that no velcro is used to keep the pouch closed, a buckle is used. HOWEVER, the elastic material used to keep the whole pouch secured with the buckle is just like the shell webbing elastic, way too loose right off the bat and once 10 shells are loaded, the pouch slides back and forth due to the securement strap NOT being stitched to the pouch so the lower 5 shells start to slide out of the securement/attachment. There is no way to snug up the strap used to hold the pouch together and you can just tell this pouch is not going to hold up to any type of strenuous/tactical use whatsoever.

I can open it, turn it upside down, and shells are falling out on their own.

For less than $6 do not expect too much. It's a cheap way to hold 10 shells and maybe leave it in your glove box or range bag, but NO WAY would I put it on a belt, rig, or anything else that is going to see movement. If you accept its just a shell 'bag' you won't be disappointed; if you want a shell pouch for actual duty/use and something to attach to your belt, forget it, this thing is junk in that regard.

I give it 3 stars as a storage bag, 1 star for a 'belt pouch'

Product as described. Very well made. Does the job just fine. I aint worried about zombies but I do tackle a herd of pigs (yeah, I know it's a "sounder" but I dont like that word) from time to time - spare ammo is a necessity.
