I really like this item but the "ribbons" for securing it to the tree are each about a foot too short on both sides. I wrote the company about this weeks ago but to date they have not replied. Pretty sorry customer service, IMO.

I used it yesterday for the first time. It kept me fairly dry during a 2 hour long 1-2" downpour. It's not big enough to keep you entirely dry but if my boots get wet I don't care because they're waterproof. The downside to the design is the main arm that screws into the tree. It didn't bite as well as I would hope into the tree so I had some trouble getting it installed. The little plastic piece you have to hold onto to turn the arm kept slipping so that didn't help either. I ended up getting half the screw into the tree which worked well enough. For the price I paid, I would still get another if I needed one.

This is my first unbrella blind and I am very happy with it. I have only used it one time, but it held up great. I took it out spring turkey hunting a week ago and it worked great as a blind and kept my dry as a rain shower hit when I was walking out of the woods. here are some observations:
Pros; - really cheap on AMAZON, same thing at Bass Pro was over 35 dollars! - Camo pattern blends in well with woods. - comes with screw and pins to attach to trees - Quiet in the wind. - easy to raise and break down - camo bag to store everything - light - small - will fit into pack. Cons: - in high winds rods will bend - Tree straps are not long enough for really thick trees that I like to sit against. Overall amazing value for the price. It folds up small and will fit in a backpack easily. So far it has worked well in both the blind and cover positions. Great item for a casual hunter like myself!
