Not True to Size, built on the 5 last,

Most shoes fit me true to size. The Allen Edmonds #5 last is, according to Allen Edmonds, "The longest and narrowest" of their lasts. While the #7 last and it's derivatives fit me excellently, my normal size 12D requires an 11.5 EE to correctly fit a #5 last. Since Amazon doesn't list the last and it can be difficult to find the last on a discontinued model such as this, I thought I'd do this review. I've ordered and returned this exact "used" pair of Cascades and they are really new with just shop wear--I'd have loved to keep them if they were true to size and would recommend them to a person who is a 11-12 B/C or who finds a normal 12D quite roomy.

I wear them all the time. Great boot and easy to dress up or just wear with jeans. Allen Edmonds...c'mon...got to be good!
