These are a staple for a businessman. They are a bit conservative and I wear them with a suit or slacks and a sports coat. I have had my Graysons for five years now and you can't tell they are more than a month old. I have refurbished mine once and they came back looking new. They fit true to size. If you currently buy a cheaper brand I urge you to take the step up to AE. If you wear a $300 pair of shoes for ten years and love them the whole time it is a better value than buying $150 shoes once every two years that look old in 6 months. AE is made in the USA and will make you proud.

The only dress shoe brand I would ever consider wearing. Made in the USA of the best materials. If only more companies could be like Allen Edmonds...

If you are looking at Allen Edmonds than you already know the drill MADE in the USA and for $100 you can have them "recrafted" I love these adn have had them for years, my son borrowed them and I have not seen them since.

I've owned a pair of Graysons for over 10 years and have been well pleased the entire time of ownership. I can also testify as to how well they're made.

Once upon entering the x-ray and bag check of a courthouse, I was detained and asked to pass through a few times. Finally, I was allowed to proceed after a group of guards examined my shoes and came to a conclusion I was of no threat. They felt obligated to share with me why the additional screenings. They showed me the x-ray image and said they've never seen such a large shank within the sole of any shoe (it seemed to extend from mid-heel close to the ball of the foot). I jumped at the chance to brag just one more time; "These are hand made in the US and you get what you pay for."
