I've found that I have to order a half size larger for Allen Edmonds. I wear an 11 but order the 11.5. This is a beautiful shoe. Looks and feels great.

I wear a 13 E but ordered this shoe in a 13 EEE because it was the closest size available. I realized that I was taking a chance but didn't think it would be all that different from a 13 E. And, it was almost identical width wise (where you would think the difference would be). It was a full 1/2 "longer however, than any other size 13 E shoe or boot I owned (go figure). I am actually more disappointed with Allen Edmonds customer service than I am with the shoe. I got a rather stupid response back from them saying I should get my feet checked by a Allen Edmond retailer and that the reason their shoes were different from my other shoes was because Allen Edmond prided themselves on their "perfect" lasts. I'm sure Florshiem, Johnson & Murphy, Danner Boots and Ecco (the other footwear I was comparing the length to) would love to know that they are all working with inferior lasts! I turned 63 this year and I think I remember getting my feet measured once or twice during those years (duh!!!) but, I did go to an Allen Edmond retailer (Nordstroms) and had my feet measured. According to their foot measuring device, I am a 13E (who'd have thought). I showed them the Vincent shoes I had purchased on line. They agreed that they didn't look like a size 13 and moreover, agreed that they didn't fit me, (they are "way too long for your foot" was their response). Bottom line, buyer beware with this brand and model shoe. Of course Amazon took care of me with no problems!
