not your typical AE shoe,

Just so customers know these are not your typical AE shoe. They're Italian loafers. I'm told they're supposed to fit like a slipper, and maybe they should only be worn around the house like slippers. The construction is poor and uncomfortable. I've worn them less than a year and they have not held up very well. I have two other pairs of AE shoes both of which are extremely durable and comfortable. If you're looking at AE shoes, perhaps you should consider one of the American made models.

The shoes are very stylish and I am quite happy with them. However, I would like to see a data sheet provided on the care for such shoes; I am not sure if I should use saddle soap first and polish later; at any rate, I think they are comfortable and add to my slack and sportcoat outfits. TJ
