My favorite shoe. Heavier and more substantial than their dress shoes, it has the same superior fit and finish their shoes are known for (which most of the imports lack.) Another A-E feature is the much greater variety of shoe widths--so if you are not "normal" and need anything from width A to width EEE you can get it. They also have the nicest shoe inserts--which are readily available so you don't have to use those ill-fitting generic aftermarket insoles when your original ones wear out.

Very attractive and conservative. Heavy duty construction. I love these shoes. Pricey, but given the fact that I had to throw away couple of Sebagos and Timberlands in the last 2 years, I hope it will all break even. And these are refurbishable.
Highly recommended.

As expected another comfortable shoe by A E, it does run heavier than reguler shoes, but I got used to it in a couple days.
As all the other A D shoes I have previously bought, I highly recmmend the wilbert moc toe .

Quality abounds, well constructed and comfortable. Note that these tend to feel a little larger than "true to size" as compared to other makers. Excellent oxford for use in a variety of settings (rubber sole).

This is a good-looking, well-constructed shoe. It was the men's Wilbert Moc Toe. I always get Allan Edmonds shoes when I can; I need the narrow width and it's easier to find an EEEEE than a B-width in stores these days.

These shoes proved to be longer in size than I anticipated and I had to send them back. As noted elsewhere Amazon charges you for returning shoes which seems a little
unfair. Given that it often takes trying on two or three shoes at a shoe store to get the right fit Amazon may wish to adjust there policy.Nevertheless, the price is so good on AE shoes that it is worth the risk. The Wilbert is a sturdy shoe but not really a comfort shoe and has a hard feel to them. I own several pair of AE shoes and like them all.

I remain a fan of AE shoes but a little less of a Amazon fan.

Product was as advertized. Fit was as expected. The only thing that would have been useful to know: this is a heavy (as in pounds and ounces) shoe compared to other A-E shoes my husband owns.
