5.0 out of 5 stars Nice coat
This coat was surprisingly nice considering the low price. The fit is pretty true and it looks good with both dress pants and jeans. It seems to repel light rain but not sure it would hold up in a drench. I've gotten a lot of compliments on this coat.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not good quality for the price
I returned this item. I was looking for a professional trench coat to wear to job interviews and this one fell short compared to the others I ordered. First, I ordered a 4 and it was HUGE! I'm 5'3" and 125 and it drowned me completely, I would guess the 4 would fit someone 5'8" 150. Also this coat has no lining which for a trench coat is unusual. So definitely not warm...

Got a way nicer one from London Fog for less the price.

This review is from: ABS by Allen Schwartz Women's Trench Coat (Apparel)
Okay, I searched for two days online to purchase a classic, well made, black knee length trench coat. All the coats I saw were every bit of $250.00 and up. Well, I have other coats by ABS and the quality is great. I know my coats ( I have 80 to date) I read all customer reviews since designer fit varies from product to product. This coat is awesome! I wanted unlined (but not cheaply finished) the finish is great. I wanted snug fit - but not too tight, so after reading the posted reviews for this coat, I ordered a size 4 since it was mentioned that the coat ran big and I usually wear a 6-8 medium, The fit is flawless. I am 5'8 and 135lbs., with an hour-glass shape - double breasted coats are are very flattering for this type of body build. The belt cinches the waist and is very, very attractive. I love the gun metal buttons (silver or gold doesn't always work, and black buttons are just black. I fell in love instantly. I figured when it gets really cold 50 degrees or so, I will pull out my cashmere wrap/scarf and throw across my shouders, true diva look - and that will do the trick. I don't have time to zip out liners and such. I will wash this coat on gentle/hand wash cycle when need and then hang dry. I will be ordering any other color available since the reg. price is very expensive. I am a picky product junky and I only want the very best as for quality and style. This is a timeless trench coat and well worth every penny and more. You won't be disapointed, just order a size smaller unless you wear bulky sweaters - I like the thinner wool and cashmere in the colder months, bulky just seems to be uncomfortable and un-attractive. I plan to wear this coat with black leggings & boots, skinny jeans, flare jeans, and knee length black skirts and heels. Another very sexy look is just wearing the coat (no top or blouse needed) with jeans, slacks, or skirts & a great necklace or bare skin showing once belted and buttoned. Good luck in ordering, get one in each color - seriously!
