It feels terrible to sleep on, very uncomfortable, I washed it before I used it the first time and it has already begun to tear in the corner and seams. I can not recommend this product.

I bought this item and it ripped when I was putting it on my mattress. Very cheap product!!!

I bought this item because of it's price. It ripped while i was putting it on the mattress the first time, and i've done this before so i was being careful. Once on the mattress it was less than comfortable and sounded like a sheet of paper was installed underneath the sheets.
It's paper thin and fragile and not very soft. I'm shopping for a new one...

This cover doesn't have the scratchy sound of other allergy barriers. It's a fairly soft cotton. I imagine if I washed it more often, it would get softer, but it's too hard to get off and on the king-size mattress. I notice an improvement with my allergies when sleeping.

Great, great product! I purchased a complete set (pillow, pillow protector and mattress protector) and have found that my step daughter's allergies and asthma symptoms have significantly improved. The mattress protector seems to be blocking all of the household allergens that trigger her attacks -- and she is not coughing and sneezing like she was before. What a relief for her and me!
