It has a tiny weak zipper and the zipper keeps opening on my 11" foam mattress. If the zipper was more durable it would fit better. The manufacture only rates it for 7"-12" which is probably close to reality on a slightly shorter than standard size mattress. I would recommend add a couple inches to height to adjust.

After I have had it now for a while the zipper seems stable as long as I don't move the mattress off the bed and I think overall it is an OK product.

When we purchased new twin beds for two of our children we purchased the "Twin" version of these from a local store. Totally impressed with them - our kids are still at the age where they occasionally wet the bed but these mattress covers protect the mattress. When an "accident" happens, we just spray & wash on the bed & let it dry. Every 2-3 mths we take them off & put them through the laundry machine. The best thing is that they are the same material all over so that if you want to flip the mattress you can do so without having to take the cover off.

Since purchasing these we bought a different make for our Queen bed from another store as we had moved & have been really disappointed - it doesn't fit well & in fact tore the first time we put it on. I have been searching for a Queen size like the Twins we bought but the searches just brought up ones with Terry tops which I did not want. SO glad to have finally found the Queen one & the price is excellent - way less than what I purchased the Twin ones for.

Can't wait to get it here & on the bed.

A decent bed encasement for the price.

Fits two 9" deep twins pushed together for a makeshift king with room to spare. The terrycloth upper is interesting, keeps the sheets in place. No rips or tears so far, even at the corners. I don't really notice that its there, doesnt make noise or heat up like others.

Cant say theres a noticeable difference in my dustmite-allergy symptoms but it cant hurt!

It IS waterproof... intersting things happened in the washing machine (hope you have an extra spin cycle or some time to squeeze it out if your washing machine is uncooperative like ours)

This item fits my mattres exactly. It feels sturdy but not uncomfortable. Sleeping on the waterproof fabric does not feel hot or even different from just the sheets. Except the sheets used to slip around on the satin mattress. The texture of the encasement helps hold the sheets in place. Make sure you have enough room to sling the king mattress around as you install the encasement. Move any breakable items away so you can still have a lamp on your night table when you finish putting the sheets on and go to sleep.

this is a better quality bed bug cover compared to the other one I wrote about (see my reviews). I washed it once so far with no problems.

I bought this AllerZip Waterproof BedBug cover to protect a 5000$ TempurPedic mattress which I intend to have for a long time. Of course my child wanted to sleep and try out the bed and an accident happened. I didn't do much in the night assuming that the cover would do the protection (just threw a towel over it). This thing is not waterproof and now my brand new mattress smells. It keeps a bit back but it's definitely not water proof. I am very disappointed. How can a manufacturer lie so openly. They do have some warranty on the package about issues with water tight but I am certain this will stall, I am not even sure how to proof it.

I bought this in July. I put it on my bed. Today when I changed my sheets I found that the zipper encasing had completely come apart. Since the zipper runs 3/4 of the way around the mattress cover, its pretty much like a loose piece of waterproof fabric under my sheet. It feels terrible, and after 2 hours of trying to fix it, I've just made it worse. I spent SOOOO long reading every review on Amazon for waterproof and water resistant mattress covers, and I got this one. I just wish someone had mentioned the incredibly flimsy zipper in their reviews. Perhaps the next person will know.

By the way, I sleep alone. I need waterproofing because of incontinent cats, and neither they or I put the zipper through a workout. There was no reason for this to break after 6 months of one person and two cats sleeping on it.

We own a short-term rental condo unit on the island of Molokai. Even though bed bugs currently are not a problem I decided I was not going to wait until there was a problem. We quite often rent to people from other countries and even though they're wonderful, what may be catching a ride on their luggage may not be. I bought this product and encased our box springs and our mattress for the king size bed. The fit was tight as all the other reviewers had noted. My husband did not have any problems getting the product on the box spring but on the mattress it was too tight to fit over it and the foam pad we had for extra cushion. That was fine as we will use mattress pads between the sheets and the encasement anyway. So far no one has mentioned the encasement being on the mattress or box springs so I do not know if it makes the bed warmer. If there are comments I will update this review.

It covers the entire mattress, zips all the way around and can be put on by one person with some time. I am just thankful I got it when I did. Just 2 nights after getting it on my dog (who sleeps with me every night) had a surgical wound that had become infected and start leaking. Gross I know but I removed the cover, washed it and it is like new. It saved my mattress. We have a sleep number bed and use to have a cover from them, it was WORTHLESS. This cover works wonderfully and fits perfectly. One other thing for those with a sleep number bed. One side of this cover is closed and is meant for the bottom of the bed with the zipper ending at the side. I put that closed side on the right side of the bed so that the zipper stopped at the head of the bed, to accommodate the hoses. It does fit placed sideways.
