~*~*~YOUR DRY EYES WILL THANK YOU~*~*~, September 27, 2010
I had Lasik in January and enhancements in both eyes. My eyes were already dry before Lasik and got more dry after Lasik and even more dry after my enhancements. Most of that extra dryness is my own fault for not keeping up with my Flaxseed Oil and daily eye drops.
One morning I woke up and one of my eyes had extremely blurred vision, everything was ghosting, almost doubled and no matter how many regular eye drops(Refresh Plus) I put in my eye it would not go back to normal. So I went to my Lasik Dr to get my eye checked out. Everything was fine with my actual eyes, the only problem was that my eyes were both really dry. I told him that I had slacked off on taking my Flaxseed and Refresh and after he scolded me, he told me to start taking the Flaxseed and using the Refresh Plus at least 6-8 times a day and to use Celluvisc 4 times a day(more if dryness persists)
Wow, this stuff is thick but thats a good thing when you have a sore/dry eyeball. You definately do not want to use this when you are driving or doing anything that you need to see clearly for at least several minutes. I like to put it in and then close my eye for at least a few minutes. Make sure you look in the mirror after these dry because it will leave crusties on your eye and lashes, reminds me of dried glue. And I use this at night and it often glues my eyelashes toghether, sometimes I have to put water on my lashes to get my eyes open. I don't mind though, because it works so wonderfully well for my dry eyes.
Here is what I recommend(and do myself) if you have dry eyes
*Take Flaxseed Oil-1000mg 2-3 times a day
*Refresh Plus-as many a day as needed, they work great, can use while driving
*Refresh Celluvisc-use before bed or when eyes are more dry than normal
*Refresh PM-use before bed, I put this gel in and then the celluvisc
*Humidifier-sleep with a humidifier on if the above alone doesn't help
As long as you continue doing this everyday, your eyes should become less dry and feel really great. My vision is not as good when my eyes are really dry but my vision is perfect when my eyes are moist.
And last, if you are a complete moron please do not buy these drops or any drops for that matter because you will most certainly poke yourself in the eye and then give this product a 1 star review...and not just 1 review, somehow you will manage to give the same product three 1 star reviews.

Best Eyecare Drops in the Market Today, November 24, 2006
Refresh Celluvisc has a thick viscosity for an over-the-counter eyedrop.
However, this particular brand does something that other brand-name and store-brand eyedrops do not do.
Refresh Celluvisc coats the entire eye, if applied properly, and relaxes the back of the eyeball and the optic nerve.
While others "get the red out," Celluvisc LUBRICATES the eye and surrounding nerves to make it function better.
This item also helps prevent blindness from overpressurized optic nerves!
It has 1 percent carboxymethylcellulose sodium in it. I don't know if that is the secret to the effectiveness of this item.
But I do know that I go through at least one to eight boxes per month.
I spend a lot of time on the computer, overworking my eyes.
Refresh Celluvisc has performed so well on my eyes, that I have shared this item with most of my friends and family. Now, they swear by it.
I am not particularly brand-faithful; however, in this instance, I cannot find a better over-the-counter product on the market today.
I really did not want to write this review because I wanted to keep the secret of great eyecare to myself.
I wish it were cheaper, but, it is worth every penny.
Here's to great eyesight.

Great for nighttime relief after Lasik, July 28, 2010
This works perfectly as a nighttime drop after having Lasik done. In the morning you may experience a little crusting (in the corner of your eye) from residual gel, but thats normal for any gel. I would definitely recommend the use of these drops as they give me the relief I need! I also use Refresh Plus and after Lasik I was given samples of Allergan Optive. Both I would recommend.
