From School Library Journal
Gr 6-9--Landau packs a lot of general information into these brief overviews, all of which are clearly written and well documented. She explains the symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of the respective illnesses and addresses preventive measures (when available) and how to live with the diseases. Average-quality, full-color photographs make the discussions accessible and understandable. These series entries are much better organized and presented than the ``Living With'' (Watts) titles. They are easier to read than, but not as comprehensive as ``Venture Books'' (Watts) or the ``Encyclopedia of Health'' series (Chelsea).
