Cleared up my eczema,
By
This review is from: Allergy D 400IU Dry 100 Capsules (Health and Beauty)
A few years after moving to California from Texas, I started experiencing eczema on my trunk, arms and legs--something I'd never experienced before. A dermatologist prescribed some very strong steroid creams which would clear things up for awhile but it would always come back. I started taking Twinlab Allergy D about four years ago for seasonal affectiveness disorder. It worked well for that. Somewhere along the line, I stopped taking the vitamin D supplements. My eczema came back and I was back on the steroid creams for the past year or so and the seasonal affectiveness disorder came back last winter. I decided to start the Vitamin D in September of this year so my levels would be good going into the shorter days. The eczema cleared up within two weeks and without the creams. I finally figured out low Vitamin D levels were causing my eczema. I like this brand and I like that it's water dispersed rather than fat soluable. If you have eczema, try it! I take about 800 IU's a day in winter.
