Allerpet/D™ cleanses the hair of dander, saliva, and sebaceous gland secretions, the antigens considered to be the prime causes of allergic reactions to dogs. It is non-toxic and completely safe to use on puppies.

DI UV water; quaternium-22; quaternium-26; allantoin; rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract; glycerin; panthenol; aloe vera; camellia sinensis leaf extract; hydroxypropyltrimonium hydrolyzed wheat protein; sodium styrene/PEG-10 maleate/acrolates copolymer (and) ammonium nonoxynol-4 sulfate; chamomilla recutita (matricaria) extract; hydrolyzed collagen; citric acid; Methylchloroisothiazolinone (and) Methylisothiazolinone.
Directions
Dampen a washcloth or small sponge with Allerpet/D™ (or Allerpet® Single Solution™) and lightly wipe your dog from the skin outward, first against the lay or the hair, then with it, until all areas are damp, not dripping wet, to remove loose dander, dried saliva and urine. If your dog has long or thick hair, use your free hand to separate and hold down the untreated hair from the area you are wetting, to make sure you are getting down to the skin. Wipe several times over the areas your dog licks most often, especially around the genitals where urine tends to collect and dry on the hair. No rinsing is required. Dry the hair thoroughly with a towel or hair dryer.

I bought this on a whim after I discovered that my boyfriend was terribly allergic to our new english bulldog. We love him too much to give him up and wanted to do anything we could to keep him. After using this product for the last two months my boyfriend has almost no allergy symptoms. I use this in combination with a dander reducing shampoo once a month and a very rigorous vacuuming regimen. I'm very grateful we found this product and would recommend it to anyone with pet allergies.

It's honestly difficult to tell if this is actually having an impact. When we have a sniffle or itch, we assume it must be something other than our dog if we recently applied Allerpet. The reverse is true of course, where if we haven't applied for a while and symptoms occur, we can't help thinking it's for lack of Allerpet.
The main reason we have so much faith that it's working has to do with the great reviews we found here and elsewhere. I will say that overall we're suffering less symptoms, and while I'm not willing to rush to the conclusion that it's entirely due to this product, we've convinced ourselves it has, and it's allowing us to keep our pup.

A Friend had recommended this product to me, so we thought we would try it.
It does work. There is no noticeable smell and the dog doesn't seem to mind it. I also bought the cat version, and it works too.
