Can I give 6 stars?
I suppose I had dustmites in my mattress which cause itching problem every time I slept on that bed. I removed the fitted sheet and left the mattress naked for a couple days. I sprayed the bed with ADMS twice (a few hours apart), put a clean fitted sheet back on, and no more itching problem. ADMS recommends reapplying every 30 days, but I plan to do that every time I change the sheets. It worked after the first try. Two thumbs up. I wish they had listed ingredients on the bottle though. It just says "natural, non-toxic" ingredients. It would be more comforting to know what did you just actually sprayed on your bed, something that you sleep on every night.

This is a great product. I've been using it for years to control allergens, especially mites, that cause allergy problems for me, sneezing and asthma symptoms. Just a simple spray and let it set and dry for an hour or so. It smells like fresh air, no perfume. Breaks down microscopic allergens that you just can't get out by cleaning in upholstery, rugs, and even books that have been shelved a long time (mites love old books). I'm glad to see Amazon carries it at a good price now. Allersearch ADMS Anti-Allergen Dust Mite Spray (32 oz.)
I also recommend Allersearch X-Mite Anti-Allergen Carpet Cleaning Powder Allersearch X-Mite Anti-Allergen Carpet Cleaning Powder and Allerpet Solution For Animal Dander Control. This last one you just moisten a sponge and stroke it onto your cat. Cats love it. Allerpet®/C for cats

This spray is great! We had a very bad dust mite problem in the house -- they were everywhere, and everything was itchy. I ordered this product and used it on the couches, bed, surfaces, and even linens, and it really helped the mite situation. It lasts for a couple of weeks before I have to spray again. This is MUCH better than a harsh detergent, and very mild on delicate fabrics. It hasn't had any adverse effects (fading or shrinking) any fabrics that I've used it on, like other products I've tried. I also like that it is unscented, so I can really douse things with it and it doesn;t make anything smell like perfume or cleaning products. I will definitely continue ordering this product.

This MITE removal MIGHT work...for you,

I was on a mission to get rid of those pesky dust mites after finding out I was allergic to them and after a sudden mild case of eczema.
I winded up buying the laundry detergent, the carpet powder, and also the spray from allersearch, and I can say that I see the spray lasting the longest of the 3 and it is also the easiest of the 3 for removing dust mites. I will say though that it does have a slight funk to it. Almost smells like a mild bleach to me after it settles a bit. I would recommend this spray. ***UPDATED 7/12/10 To be honest, unless you have a microscope and inspect what you are spraying there is really no way to tell if this product is truly working. I will however base my updated review off of what I DO see, and that is that this spray has 'bleached' my favorite bed set that I just recently purchased. It was a deep blue colored duvet and pillow cases and they now have orange spots all over from this spray. The reason I decided to spray this set is because the set is 'dry clean only' and in this case, the anti dust mite laundry detergent I own would not work in this case. BE VERY CAREFUL WHAT YOU ARE SPRAYING THIS ON and I would say test it out on a small corner of whatever you plan to use this on. As far as the bedset goes, im not sure if this spray removed the mites, and even if it did, its been a while since and im sure they are back by now. One thing is for sure, my bed set is still plagued with orange spots, and unlike the mites, the blue wont be coming back anytime soon. =(

I purchased a couch off Craigslist and my eyes itched whenever I was near it. After two liberal applications of this spray, it never happened again. Although correlation does not prove causation, this stuff just might work.

Worked for me.,
This review is from: Allersearch ADMS Anti-Allergen Dust Mite Spray (32 oz.) (Kitchen)
Got the ADMS (even though I ordered ADS), but it was working for me. I had a second-hand sofa I got that I was allergic to (probably the cat that the last owner had, or the dust mites in the cloth). It was one of those clear allergy-maker in which 5 minutes after sitting on the sofa I'd get a running nose like the Niagra Falls.
I sprayed the thing on the sofa, waited for it to dry (with the assistance of a fan or two), vacuumed it, and... voila! no allergies any more. I hope I won't have to do this drill again every 30 days as they recommend, though.

Bought this because my grandson who is extremely allergic to cats was coming for a visit. We have a cat. He was here for a week with no problems.

Definitely helps cut back on my severe allergies, but I also have three big dogs in and out of the house all the time. Hubby noticed a difference and he isn't really bothered by allergies. I have to reapply about every 2 weeks. Get gallon container if you can, better deal. Made a slightly funny smell for a couple of hours, but didn't last. Hasn't stained anything yet either.

I bought this product and used as instructed. My daughter still had allergic reaction to dust mites even after I throughly vaccumed all the furniture and rugs. It also seemed to give off an odor afterwards.
