Our new puppy Sebastian brought lots of laughter and fun to our house. Unfortunately, it also brought my husband misery for his allergies. Having had a dog when he was a kid, he never thought he'd be allergic to one as an adult. I purchased several allergy reducing products including shampoo, spray, and dander wipes. When I asked how he felt, he said that he was "okay" but never seemed totally fine.

Then I found this product and decided to give it a shot. More expensive than some of the other shampoos, but I thought perhaps it would be worth it, and was it EVER!!! We gave our dog a bath last Saturday (a week ago) using Allersearch and he said his nose doesn't bother him at all!! This product is supposed to last 30 days, so we're still at 7 days and counting. We are completely amazed by this shampoo and highly recommend it to anybody suffering from pet allergies.

The next time our cat goes to the vet for shots and a shampoo, we're taking this along and we'll have them bathe her in it as well. Amazing stuff!

I bought this because my girlfriend is severally allergic to my dogs. I give my dogs a bath every two weeks and after each use she can tell a big difference. The reason I didnt give this product a 5 is that,after my dogs went outside,the effect wore off some, especially when they go outside when its wet.This product helps but its not a cure all.Try using this product along with a good air purifer and you should be able to keep the dander under control.My girlfriend can now tolerate my house as long as I use the shampoo and the purifer,but it doesn't work 100%,but it does make it managable.

Allersearch really helps with my allergies to our dog. I would recommend it to anyone dealing with allergies to their pets. It's also very simple to use, just give them a shampoo once a month. Amazingly enough, it actually does work for a full month just like the package says. If you're allergic to your pets you will definitely want to use this shampoo, it works wonderfully. Even if you don't suffer from allergies to your pets you might want to consider using it to help those people with allergies that come to your home.

This item saved the day when I got engaged. My Fiancee was totally allergic to my dog (Black Lab). Sneezing and itching after any contact with him. After getting this and using it once a week on him they have now become best buds and you can find them both passed out on the couch right next to each other. Its not 100% fixed and after prolonged contact she has to wash her hands, but more than enough that its barely an issue.

As for the shampoo itself it makes a nice lather and rinses out fairly easily. The smell is pretty neutral as well.

I keep a supply of this stuff on hand at all times.

I bought this to use on my two little dogs. The reviews were all good so I splurged. My mom is allergic to them so I thought it would be worth it. Little did I know this stuff STINKS!! It's horrible. I was tempted to wash my dogs with this then use their regular shampoo over it to take away some of the smell. When I visited my mom, she asked me when I washed them last beacause she could barely breathe. She had no idea that I washed them the day before and used this stuff. So if you want to waste you money, this would be a great product to do so!!

The only shampoo for people with allergies to pet dander
that I can find still on the market since Groomax seems
to have gone out of business.
It costs about twice as much as Groomax, but since
that is no longer available, thank you Allersearch for
coming up with a product that is as good or better.
We have been using it for about two months now,
and it seems to be what we were looking for!
we carried this shampoo to our pet groomer
to use on our Shih-Tzu, and she liked it enough
to order some for her own dogs!

I am HIGHLY allergic to cats I found out AFTER I got one. I was tested by an allergist with a scratch test and scored a 3/4 for cat dander. What a lot of people don't know is that we are allergic to the protein in cat's saliva, not their hair. But cat's are constantly licking and grooming themselves so the dander gets on their hair, then sheds around the house.

So I bought Allersearch allergy spray, pet shampoo, and Allerpet solution to wipe on the cat.

Now to be honest, I'm not sure how well this shampoo really works in helping my allergies. I seem to always be allergic to my cat but take antihistamines every day, bought a $900 IQ air purifier, Miele vacuum with a hepa filter, and have done everything possible to lessen allergies. But this shampoo does smell wonderful. I bathe my cat with it once a week to try and reduce the allergens on his fur, so yes I'd recommend it.
