These covers are excellent! I have terrible allergies and recently purchased these to help with my symptoms. These covers don't have the synthetic crinkle you get with the cheaper covers. Sleeping soundly is worth the extra little investment.

I purchased a couple of these after the zippers broke on two of my Laura Ashley pillow protectors. They're great because they give you plenty of extra room to allow for shrinkage. I don't have to struggle anymore to get my bulky king pillow into the protector like I had been doing with the Laura Ashley version. Whether you use this as a protector or the actual pillowcase, you can't go wrong. The fabric is soft, it doesn't pill, and it doesn't make that loud crinkling noise underneath your head. Best of all, they're made in the USA!!!

I'm actually quite impressed with this pillow-case. I have lots of dogs and a cat and they occasionally lay on my bed and I normally always have to brush the hair off my pillows but with these pillow-case's it's amazing just how much they repel hair. They stay nice and cool at night and feel extremely comfortable. I highly recommend it to people with lots of dogs and cats.

I purchased five king-sized Allersoft Pillow Protectors due to the previous reviews stating there was none of the usual 'noise' associated with others that crinkle due to stiff materials. I'm pleased to say they are right! These cases are very soft to the touch and not at all noise-producing.

The zipper seems well made and substantial, but not obtrusive. With my regular king sized down-alternative pillows placed inside them, each case had about 4" worth of excess fabric, leading me to believe that firm or overstuffed pillows would fit into these cases too.

NOTE SIZING: The packaging states the sizes as: Standard - 21"x27", Queen - 21"x31" and King - 21"x37".

Overall I'm very pleased with these cases for the quality of construction, size and feel. I would highly recommend them to allergy sufferers who are seeking both relief from their symptoms, protection from dust mites and protection for their pillows.

The fabric is very soft and tightly woven, however, I have also purchased 2 different pillow encasements as well as mattress and box spring encasements, all from different manufacturers and all the others have a plasticy yet breathable coating on the inside of the fabric. This encasement does not so I really am not sure if it truely provides anymore barrier to mites than high count sheets would. THAT being said, my allergies have improved as a result of all the measures I have taken to avoid exposure and these encasements are part of that.

They are super soft and comfortable. They breathe well so they are very comfortable to sleep with under your regular pillow case. The zipper zips well and I've had no problems.

It's made in America. It's WELL made. The materials are good, and if the price is higher than slave-made, it's not crinkly because it's cotton, it didn't stink, it didn't shrink, and it hasn't pilled or dropped a stitch. My wife likes the zipper quality too. Want to have something more than a month from now? Buy this one.

These are so soft, I don't even know they are on my pillows. As for controlling mites I can't say for sure, but if they do then they are well worth it. I bought queen size for all my pillows, even the standard and you can't tell when using them that they are a little big for the pillow, I bought the queen size so they will fit any pillow I buy in the future (except King).

So far so good. The case is very cool and comfortable to sleep on (I use a regular pillow case on top). I have no way of knowing if it works (I wonder if those little mites can crawl through where the zipper closes). My allergies still go crazy at night but I live in the south so there is always something to aggravate them. No complaints.

I like these covers. So far, they appear to be a very good quality. However, if you usually launder your bed clothes in hot water (I do) - the care label reads: "FABRIC CONTENT 100% COTTON. WASHING INSTRUCTIONS MACHINE WASH WARM, TUMBLE DRY LOW. ONLY NON-CHLORINE BLEACH WHEN NEEDED. MADE IN LOWELL, MA USA"
