phantastisch!,
This review is from: Alles Nur Geklaut (Audio CD)
I think that this is perhaps their best album. All the songs are excellent, and it's all very enjoyable. You don't have to know German to enjoy it, although you can't understand the funny parts unless you do.As a student of German, I've found that German music in general, and especially music by Die Prinzen has helped me learn the language much faster than I would have otherwise. Jetzt nehme ich dritte Jahre Deutsch nach nur eins Jahre! Anyway, very highly reccomended! Get it! NOW!

This CD is awesome. Die Prinzen is a great group for anyone learning German. "Alles Nur Geklaut" is my favorite song on it. I haven't seen the video for it, but I hope I can find it in the U.S. ...

BUY IT! It's a wonderful CD! Great music, no instruments. just pure, great, clear voices. The members of the Prinzen are former choir boys from Eastern Germany. My favorite songs on this CD are: "This is not a sove long-(Kein Liebeslied)", "Blue Eyes-(Blaue Augen)", "What shall I give to her?-(Was soll ich Ihr schenken?)". Definitely get this acapella version compared to the same CD which includes instruments/drum beat.

I first got hooked on die Prinzen when I was in Germany. I have since looked for their albums everywhere. I am a German teacher and use many of their songs in my classroom. The students like them because their German is clear and easy to understand. I think their texts and music are great. I own the Alles nur geklaut CD, among many others and find it great!

This ablum rocks the house, I love it! Die Prinzen are definatly Queen`s German counterparts. Its a great way to learn German, or just to hang out. But its hard not to really enjoy it, unless you don`t speak German. Either way Die Prinzen will raise the rathaus and paint the town black, red, and gold! Es Lebe Die Prinzen!

Alles Nur Geklaut For ... Queen Fans !,
This review is from: Alles Nur Geklaut: a Capella Album (Audio CD)
I first heard and saw die Prinzen in the video Das Ist Alles Nur Geklaut (Everything Is Just Stolen), and they immediately drew my attention. In the beginning of the video die Prinzen appear dressed up like Queen in I Want To Break Free. Tobias Kuenzel, originally with long blond hair, appears with a black wig and moustache carrying a vacuum cleaner exactly like Freddie Mercury. The other guys were, of course, dressed like Brian, Roger, and John. However, die Prinzen are a group of five; so, they put the fifth guy just in the middle of the circle polishing his nails. Queen is not the only group immitated by die Prinzen in that video. The Cure, U2, Genesis, ZZ Top, and a dozen of others are shown by die Prinzen. The video got the 6th position on the MTV hit list in the UK. The video is great, and the song by itself is terrific. (Unfortunatelly, I did not succeed to find this video in the USA). Die Prinzen are obviosly creating their own style in pop music. By the variety of styles they use to make their songs including choir singing they could compare with Queen. I would strongly recommend every Queen fan to get acquainted with this German group who also have a piece of royalty in their name.

Alles ist terrible,

Even for those of us who remember the hilarious video for the single "Alles nur geklaut" the CD is not worth the money. The rest of the CD seems like a choral harmonization practice session. At less that 40 minutes in length, the rest of the CD diminishes what is and should have remained a one hit wonder from the group.
