There are a few reasons why this movie is believable and good. First of all, you can totally relate to the outsider kids, and you can see the differences between the two groups: from music choices, clothes, sports, etc. The storyline is good, although you pretty much know from the beginning who's gonna win. (Even though the big bowling match gives a huge dive in our expectations.) Also, the acting is all really good, especially the kids, although I'm sure it was easy to relate to this.
Now I'm not a big fan of bowling, so that didn't do anything for me, but I enjoyed the early basketball scenes. I'm also not a huge swing music fan, but I found myself enjoying that too.
This is a great family film that entertains all the way. Watch it if you're in the mood for a kid film with an identifiable twist.

Alley Cats Strike! is my favorite movie right now. The cast is very talented and gives a great performance. The lesson to be learned is one that everyone needs to hear, that we need to learn accept others' differences. If you've never seen Alley Cats Strike! buy it today.

I love Disney Channel Original Movies. They are so good! This is about a boy and his friends who love bowling. But when the school jock gets put in bowling club to win a championship, a lot of things go wrong because they all don't get along. This movie teaches kids about being open to new ideas and friendship. I suggest you rent it...
