There are a few reasons why this movie is believable and good. First of all, you can totally relate to the outsider kids, and you can see the differences between the two groups: from music choices, clothes, sports, etc. The storyline is good, although you pretty much know from the beginning who's gonna win. (Even though the big bowling match gives a huge dive in our expectations.) Also, the acting is all really good, especially the kids, although I'm sure it was easy to relate to this.
Now I'm not a big fan of bowling, so that didn't do anything for me, but I enjoyed the early basketball scenes. I'm also not a huge swing music fan, but I found myself enjoying that too.
This is a great family film that entertains all the way. Watch it if you're in the mood for a kid film with an identifiable twist.

Alley Cats Strike! is my favorite movie right now. The cast is very talented and gives a great performance. The lesson to be learned is one that everyone needs to hear, that we need to learn accept others' differences. If you've never seen Alley Cats Strike! buy it today.

I love Disney Channel Original Movies. They are so good! This is about a boy and his friends who love bowling. But when the school jock gets put in bowling club to win a championship, a lot of things go wrong because they all don't get along. This movie teaches kids about being open to new ideas and friendship. I suggest you rent it...

Recently seeing this movie, it is funny and classic. The populars sign their friend (The basketball star) up for bowling club, and eventually comes to love it. Although the 7-10 split method was hardly real at all, the movie shows how life can really be. Other great Disney Channel movies: BRINK>PHANTOM OF THE MEGAPLEX>RIGHT ON TRACK>QUINTS.

This is a good family show. My kids loved the bowling alley scenes, expecially the music. This is a classic story of parents that couldn't get over a cildhood fight whose kids bring them to their senses.

Okay, plain and simple this movie rox! Kyle Schmid is a great actor and dang is he hot! The need to make a sequel "Alley Cats Strike Back"...

A WONDERFUL old school Disney film. It has no bad words or nasty language in it unlike most films made now a days.I would recommend this movie for any age. It is worth seeing.

i like alot of disney channel original movies this one i didnt like very much. no. its not because i dont like to bowl because i do like bowling. but for some reason i just wasnt feelin this movie. if u want a good disney original movie watch. RIP GIRLS, JOHNNY TSUNAMI,MIRICALE IN LANE 2, OR TRY SEVENTEEN AGAIN. I HAVE OTHERS BUT THESE ARE SOME THAT I LIKE.

The pure unfunniness and stupidness of this movie can only be explained through two words; "it sucked." The fact that you are even looking at this right now means that you are either 9 years old or you have a serious problem with your sexual orientation. The premise of the movie is that these fruity little farts like to bowl-- come on! It's 2003! No one bowls and honestly, Disney has gone awfuller than ever before. I barely gave this a 1 star, but it deserves none. The BOttom Line: The Alley Cats Suck!
