3.0 out of 5 stars It's cheap, but you get what you pay for.
Heck, it's not a serious tool set, but it is a good all-in-one need-something-for-the-apartment set. The downfall of all the tool-sets is that if you break a tool or lose a tool, you can't find a replacement to fit in the exact blow-molded spot.

HINT: buy the tool set and then go to your local hardware store and pick up a cheap toolbox to store the tools in. This way, you will be able to augment, change, replace your tools over time without behind stuck with the cheasy case.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good starter tool set, but you get what you pay for, January 28, 2009

I got this so I would have a basic tool set for my apartment. It does the job for occasional fix-ups, but you probably will want to upgrade if you need tools for major projects.

I've had this set for a few years now, but I haven't used all the tools yet; here are the ones I have though:
*Hammer: It's sturdy and got a good weight on it: I don't doubt this hammer will last for years to come.
*Screwdriver with two bits: It comes with a soft grip handle and a hollow pole that inserts into the handle; you insert the bit of your choosing into the pole. It comes with a Phillips head bit in two sizes, and a flat head bit in two sizes. I have been able to use this screwdriver for some basic projects, but the bits don't always fit smaller screws.
*Box cutter: It's a cheaply-made box cutter; the blade has broken on me a couple of times. Fortunately, the metal of the blade is scored, so when it broke, it was along the diagonally line, so the box cutter was still usable.
*Level: It does the job, but if you drop it, it breaks; the plastic cover comes off, but the little liquid "capsules" are still intact. I would reassemble the level, but it kept falling apart, so I just tossed it.

It's a good starter set at a reasonable price.
