This book is a must read for Americans who want to believe that American soldiers were only "good guys". My father was one of the good guys...Army Air Corps...but it's important to remember that many of these thefts are still being hidden by their families. Perhaps one can understand someone young who had fought across Europe....but one cannot condone this type of behavior when the person reaches middle and senior age. We need to look at the truth and the myth that Americans were perfect good guys...a thought that is statically impossibe.

Have read it and found it to be rather boring book. Quite a few repetitions and too much skipping about.
