This Decoy is everthing I wanted. A Great Blue Heron thought my Koi Pond was his personal Sushi Bar, but since I bought the Decoy Alligator Head, the Heron hasn't visited us at all! It's a great product, and I don't have to move it every day, because it's so lightweight, any current or breeze moves it naturally. I love it.

Although we live in NY where alligators are not that that common in local waters I have been an alligator fan for years. We have visited the Everglades National Park many times and love looking for alligators in the wild. We bought this alligator head decoy with the intent of keeping some herons out and our fish in the pond. We tied it to a small weight and floated it center pond with a little slack so it could drift in the wind. It is VERY realistic. Since it is late in the season and getting cold now I am not sure if it will work to keep the herons away but it certainly scary. I plan to put it away for the winter and then will put it back in the spring. My neighbors were impressed! It looks like I have an alligator in my pond! You are getting what is advertised. Yes I would buy it again. What do the herons think? I will find out in the spring.

I originally purchased two of the 22" heads. I placed one under my dock and one near my dock so that boaters, skiers & wakeboarders could see the heads when they drove by. I live in an area densely populated with alligators - just not my immediate area because of boat traffic. Very realistic and very entertaining. I've also purchased two other models. As a side note, the herons have stopped landing on my dock.

This product is very realistic. We only saw one heron once but have coy so bought the gator to scare him. Don't know if it worked or he lost interest in our pond but we sure enjoy seeing the gator lurking in our pond!

I highly recommend using this aligator head to get rid of geese. I had a huge problem with lots of geese making a mess on the manicured grounds of our function facility and restaurant. We were at the point that dogs were only a temporary fix and the geese were annoying guests and pooping everywhere. The aligator has been floating around in our pond for about 45 days now, and we haven't seen a goose since. At first I was afraid it would blow away in the wind or get tangled in the pond weeds, but it is pretty sturdy. We don't have the menacing geese and that was our goal. Great invention!!!

This decoy is amazing for keeping raccoons out of my pool, I recommended it to a friend that had the same problem of raccoons using it as a bathing and toilet facility. My problems stopped the day I put the decoy out 6 months ago and I have not had a problem since, my friend claims it worked for him as well. I was emailed and asked to write a review, no big deal, only takes a few minutes, right? This product worked so well for me I stopped and took a few minutes to share my experience.

A big smile crossed my face when i opened the package. Very realistic looking... In fact, i dont think ot could possibly look any better. I bought this for halloween to put in my stock tank pond along with a skeleton hand. People are definitely going to have to look thrice! Very convincing. I love the reflective eyes and i was happy to see theres a little ring on the underside to attach a string and keep it in place. Its currently sitting in my spare bedroom waiting for halloween, but its one of those items you cant keep your eyes off of. I can wait to put it out!
