Foreign Service Wife Reports,
By James O. Bleidner (Winter Haven, FL United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Alligators on My Roof: An Autobiography (Hardcover)
This is my wife's autobiography. It is a memoir of a woman who wants to tell her children and grandchildren what the years of the Great Depression and World War II were like for those of us who lived through these times. The story appeals to a wider audience interested in unusual family lives. The joys and problems of living in the various cultures of Saudi Arabia and most of the countries of South and Central Americ should be interesting for many readers. The story provides insights into the personal side of our country's program of assistance to developing countries.
