It just didn't keep my interest. After a couple months and about 80 pages I just went on to another book of hers. She writes good books but this one wasn't one of her best.

I admit, I like futuristic romances, but not when they verge on silliness. The two main characters become traders for a planet dealing in a rare fabric that reverses the aging process. The planet is inhabited by a form of dragon who eat those who cross them. They are represented by a questionable human who seems to be getting extremely rich by the sale of the fabric. Calista, one of the traders, hides the fact that she is an escaped slave from another planet who hopes to make enough money to buy her freedom. She is partnered with ex lover and trader Rhys who is trying to find a new planet for his displaced people to inhabit. There is some nice chemistry between main characters Calista and Rhys and some compelling stories about the sacrifices we make to get what we want the most. Along the way, Calista and Rhys find out they really love each other but will their goals get in the way of that love. Unfortunately, sometimes the storyline gets a little ridiculous with the dragon characters...its not the worst book I ever read, but definitely far from the best.
