Kara the blazing star gets annoyed with her magic and gets alot of stress because of it. Until that is when a magic mirrors in the closet and like it or not she will have to save the fairy realms from war and end to all worlds. The fairy realms magic is dying and the goblins insite to save their world by closing of all the magic from other worlds but if they do everyone shall be dead. Unlike the faries they refuse or fight a war against their neighboor if they must. Kara must ride a fire horse in order to attract a crysatl to save all worlds from destruction. As tension rises Kara learns to except her magic and that magic is always powerful with friends to help.

Kara's not that bad, she's actually a pretty good caracter, but not as great as Emily or (esspecialy) Adriane. This is still a great book in the Avalon series though, and while not the best in the series, a good edition. Kara gets sucked through a portal and into the Fairy Realms. Where all the different kinds of creatures (goblins, trolls, fairies) are fighting. Can she restore peace? And save her beloved bonded animal Lyra? She will need the help of Starfire, a mystic fire stallion to do it. I just wish this book showed more of the other caracters in it, but still, as I said before, another great Avalon. (Just not as good as Ghost Wolf.)

this is a good book but i'm gonna tell you right now that if your NOT a fan of kara, then don't expect much from the story. Adriane is my favorite character and is the most interesting to me. Emily is good too and so is kara, but she makes the story a little boring to me. usually i put 5 stars for all the avalon books but this one almost put me to sleep! but don't get me wrong cuz it's still an important part of the whole avalon storyline. Anyway, the main story is kara gets sucked down a portal into the fairy realms where she has to restore peace between the fairies and the goblins. She also has to save her feline friend Lyra before its too late. Even though i wish this was an Adriane book i still reccomend it all the same.

this book rocks! i own and have read both series! plot is great! i usually read a mix of hard fantasy novels and books like unicorns of balinor{even though i am am 12 these r great books!} and if you want to read hard heavy fantasy and thats it well this book will seem to have no plot and be very boring but if u like a mix like me its the best! but i would warn u not to buy this book if you have not read Avalon web of magic book #1 Circles in the Stream trough avalon quest for magic book #1 song of the unicorns! i really hope this helped!

Kara can't control her magic! She'll have to go back to what she's best at, being pretty, popular and leading the star roll in the scool play at Stonehill middle school,. Kara has two friends,Emily and Adriane,and they have special magic. Kara is going to a magical world with goblins fairies, dwarfs, trolls, elves and elemental creatures (The Fairy Realms). When Kara tries to prove she is the Blazing Star to the kings and queens she blazes Lyra, her magical cat, quick silver. She has to collect a power crystal with an elemental Fire Horse. Which also means she has to go in the Dark Sorceress' castle other magical worlds and finally sees what her future might be like, horrible and lonely. Will Kara save Lyra, get past the Dark Sorceress, change her future, or bond with the Fire Horse?

It was a good book, the plot was great. But once again, it was Kara centered. That's one of the most dissapointing things about all of the books. It's always Kara or Adriane. Emily hardly ever gets an important or major roll, even in the book she supposedly was the main character in.

Like I said, the book was great. But we really need to see more of one of the other characters be main.

This book is probably one of the best Avalon books I have read. It's all about how Kara, the Blazing Star, gets sucked into a portal and arrives in the Fairy Realms. Kara has to restore peace between the kingdoms in the Fairy Realm, save her friend from a horrible fate, bond with a dangerous fire elemental horse, and find the missing Avalon Power crystal. Will Kara be able to do it? Read this book to find out the fate of the Fairy Realms.

I just finished reading it and i didnt love it like others i read so far. It isnt bad but it just seems like most of the Avalon books are just based on Kara. I think this book really shows how Kara has changed though and became just a little less snobby. It was cute to had a mystery guy for Kara and i hope to see a little bit moreof Lorren but oh well. For those who havent read this book read it its pretty good.

I really liked how the characters became more developed in this second book of the Avalon series. It was fun to read and very imaginative.

I always loved the series it was exciting, intresting and full of adventure though ever since the sixth book well it sorta changed my mind. After reading this book well I dont think now I'm really going to buy them or read them much.
Kara saves the fairy realems and all worlds from a war between the goblins and fairys not to mention Lyra the magical cat. It had a good plot but the books always center Kara. And I don't mean to be mean but Kara has THE powerfulest magic, always stalked, sorceress after her magic, and always miss perfect AND she has fairy blood and desended from the powerfulest of all fairys? What about Adrianne or Emily?? Its no fair for them. Well I thought the book was OK but kara is a little to perfect if you know what I mean.
