The Firefly solar garden stake is a beautiful example of solar energy collection combined with hand-blown glass art. This unique product serves many purposes, including a plant stake, garden art and garden lighting. The Firefly is a three part stainless steel stake that will not rust and will blend nicely with its surroundings. When fully assemble, the stake is 5 feet tall. For low-profile use of the Firefly simply remove the 18-Inch lower portion of the stake. Each Firefly comes equipped with an artisan hand-blown glass top that screws into place atop the stake. This top is designed to be interchangeable with all the various Firefly tops within the line. Your outdoor garden decor can change with the seasons. Through the photovoltaic solar cell attached to the stake, the Firefly collects sunlight all day. The energy is stored within the solar unit until darkness falls. A built in light sensor on the solar collector will activate the Amber LED light at dusk, illuminating the Firefly and casting an ambient glow in your garden at night. With no wires or maintenance needed, this solar garden stake is truly a unique, elegant and hassle-free addition to any outdoor space. The stainless steel stake will never rust and the LED light has over 100,000 hours and will not need replacing. There are two AA rechargeable batteries found within the solar compartment and these will need replacing about every two years.
