5.0 out of 5 stars Love it., October 14, 2008

I was looking for something to store my console games in and had trouble finding something that would also keep the book. This was a perfect solution.

The spine of the binder is metal (looks stainless) the sides are firm plastic so it will stand up on its own on a shelf. The back is clear acrylic with a magnetic latch. Each sheet in the binder has a place for a game manual or dvd book on the front of the sheet and the back of the sheet has two seperate places for a disk each. The sheets are made from that felt like material that you will find on many other binders so scratching the disk will not be a problem. Each binder hold 20 games/movies or 40 disks.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great way to store DVDs without using a whole bunch of space, January 29, 2011

I bought this album because I thought it looked really cool and I wanted a more compact way of storing my DVDs. What I really like about it is that at the front of each page is a pocket where you can keep the front covers of your DVDs in. I think that makes it a lot easier to find the DVD you are looking for when you're browsing through the album. I haven't had the album long enough to see if it's sturdy or not but I don't think it's going to break on me any time soon. I've ordered 2 more to put the rest of my DVDs in so I can get rid of the media shelf I've been keeping my DVDs on.

4.0 out of 5 stars Saves space but handle with some care., October 13, 2009

I own 12 of these and they shrank the space I needed for my DVDs from 8 shelves to less than 2.

The only thing to be careful of is that the hinges can snap if some pressure is placed on the edge of either cover if the magnet clip is not in place. That pretty much means they must be stored upright, even for short periods. I also had one arrive with the front plastic piece (seen in the picture between the covers) snapped off of the back cover. A bit of glue fixed the problem but it is one more thing to watch for. It isn't like they are going to fall apart in your hands everytime you open them up. It is just that they aren't exactly bulletproof.
