Wobbly but strong,

I got this for my 22" flat panel. The shape of the legs gives you some nice storage space under, but also make this thing pretty bouncy. Any time you touch it, it takes about 30 seconds to stop bouncing. I pushed on it pretty hard and it does seem plenty strong, but it sure does bounce a lot. Even with me pushing on it pretty hard, it never seemed like it would bounce my monitor off though. Also, it does tend to lean toward the front slightly when you put weight on it, so this one is not for you if your monitor does not have a tilt adjustment.

Stack 2 Laptops on top of each other,

I bought this so that I could put one laptop on the bottom and one on the top and use one monitor/keyboard/mouse between them. the size is PERFECT. Both laptops fit perfectly under and above and my desk is very much uncluttered now with the computers all on one spot instead of in two spots on my desk. I know that this is not what the product was intended for, but for this use it is very sturdy, the size and the price are great.

Good quality monitor stand...but...,

My only complaint...any movement of your desk, even as small as leaning against it, will cause the stand to bounce up and down. Not enough that the monitor is in jeopardy...but noticeable nonetheless. Not sure what they gained by not putting support in the back of the stand as well as the front.

Looks good, but very wobbly,

This stand looks okay but it is very unstable. When I put my monitor on it it took 20 seconds to stop wobbling. Very unsturdy.

I use this to stack two laptops and it works great for that use. I would have to argue that this stand seems a little wobbly if I was to use it to hold a monitor. Hopefully this isn't intended for a big CRT monitor as it would shake all the time. An LCD screen might be acceptable but there is the potential for any vibrations to ripple through the stand. I wouldn't recommend this for a monitor stand, but I highly recommend it for a great laptop stand to house either one or two laptops stacked.

Perfect TV/Converter Stand,

I bought a 19 inch HDTV for my bedroom and didn't have any room for it and my cable converter on my dresser. This monitor stand is perfect. The TV is on the top and my converter is under it. It is a real space saver! The price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend this product.

Good stand,
This review is from: Allsop Redmond Monitor Stand - Black (Personal Computers)
Its a good stand, by Xbox360 fits nicely underneath it with my 22inch LCD on top. the only downside is that it doesn't have legs on the front so it has sort of a spring to it. i just used the 2 Styrofoam blocks that came in the packaging to make it stiff.

Not bad, but bounces a lot,
By bobo (California) - See all my reviews

Turns out my wife didn't want to use it for a monitor stand because it's too high, and not adjustable. We still used it to clear up some desk space by putting a printer on it. I don't think I'd like it as a monitor stand much. If you bump the desk a little, it will bounce and shake for a minute which would make me sick.

Works well as an a/v component shelf,

I am not rating this product as a monitor stand. Frankly, I wouldn't use it for a monitor stand, as I can totally envision what others have said - placing a heavy, unwieldy object like a monitor on it would not inspire me with confidence in this product's stability. But what I think this product IS good for is a component shelf. Many users need an impromptu shelf for a/v components, in situations where they don't want to buy new furniture. I needed a shelf which would elevate a new Blu-Ray player over a PS3 (which has a curved top and shouldn't be stacked anyway, for heat reasons)in my entertainment center. This stand is made of brushed silver metal legs and a flat black metal tray. It looks very stylish. The tray has holes, presumably designed to dissipate heat. Fine with me. The tray is about 16x10, which means it will fit most DVD/Blu-Ray players, cable boxes, and other components of that size. Once your component is placed, the shelf is relatively stable. There is a small amount of give if you push the far end, but it doesn't rock or wobble like others have described with something much larger and heavier like a monitor on it. As I mentioned, I use this for a Blu-Ray player - and it never rocks during normal operations such as ejecting the disc tray or playing a disc. The rubber feet on the legs also absorb any possible vibration. My only reservation is price. It's a little costly. But for users who need a shelf in a pinch, it's probably justifiable. Better to spend this much on a shelf than 10 times as much on a new cabinet.

Great monitor stand!,

This thing is the perfect size for my 19-inch LCD monitor. It is slightly narrower than the monitor and slightly deeper. It is good, quality construction and looks great on my desk. The other thing I love is the ability to stow my keyboard out of the way so I can free up some desk space.
