I bought my husband a Dual Drill a little over a year ago. He really likes it a lot! While it was working, that is. Something went wrong with the power trigger and no replacement parts, and no help from manufacturer.

It has been a handy tool.
The claim for Free batteries is a completely false. No contact numbers, or referred web sites work. Found Ace Hardware on line may have a battery, they cost as much as a new drill for 2 of them.

I purchased the Mansfield 3/8" Cordless Dual Drill to make my projects around the house a little less tedious by having the drill bit and screwdriver bit ready to go in the same drill. For that purpose, this drill can't be beat. You'll find that you won't have to juggle drill bits and screwdriver bits anymore with this dual-drill. You can have them ready to go with a flip of head. It is not build for heavy duty use though so be aware that if you plan on using it to drill into masonry or other extremely hard materials, you'll be better off with a heavier-duty cordless or electric drill.

It has a "smart charger" that shuts off when the battery has been charged so you won't over-charge. One con is the difficulty in finding extra batteries to buy for it. That's really the only frustrating thing I've noticed so far.

I bought this for my dad years ago. He just told me the battery isn't working and asked if I can get a replacement battery. Of course with no contact number or this item being sold anywhere else, I can't get a replacement. Just told him he'll have to buy a new drill, maybe with a more reliable name.

I bought the Mansfield Dual Drill. What a waste of money. No way is it as robust as any TV ad shows it to be.
Main problems I had were, Smoking from the motor even after being fairly new, battery life useless 10 minutes if your lucky, no after sales service. You try and get any spares for this tool - impossible! The drill is now defunked so for the short time it did work it only caused problems. My advice buy a good branded one where you get an after sales service not one that no-one wants to admit making.

This is my third purchase of this drill--one for me, one for my contractor, actually two for him..this is alittle heavy but well worth the ease of not having to switch drills, or bits...my contractor friend brought it to Canada to show off to his friends! Everyone should have one! Sue

Got one one ebay more then year ago for work /iam the painter-contractor /but after 7 or 8 weeks starts problems with trigger and shortly after it switch broken.Tryed cwitches from other drills /brands/ but it is not help.Cannot find cwitch and deside got new drill because it very helpfull in work.Hope it is one will works longer.

It is wonderful to have a dual drill that you use with confidence and know that you will be able to get the job completed in a much shorter time because of the ease of using the drill. It is easy to carry and handle, is not awkward, and it is very nice to have a back up battery pack when you have been working for a long time. Strongly recommend for anyone who enjoys quality power tools.
