Imperiet strikes back!, July 18, 2006

After the rather tough and serious time with Ebba Grön, Thaström went on to make some really great rock with Imperiet. While I do not like Vad pojkar vill ha (which everybody seems to adore) there are some other real gems that must be discovered. Fellrättsnettheltfelrättsnett is really great ( I think there was that Kajsa Grytt on bacing vocals if I am not wrong) and is almost the best. Golva mig is really great rock funk like The Jam made with a town called malice. OK some of the stuff is still a bit dated by the hard political edge of the times but it is very inspiring post-punk rock. As a compilation this is very representative.
