I will have to admit I would have never bought this book other than is being for a school text book. It's one hell of an English book that covers just about everything, written, that you could imagine. I'm glad that I have it for future reference.

Very well written textbook. Very well organized towards constructive and creative writing with a lot of exercises to develop the thought process. I have enjoyed using it!

came quickly and was in good condition

This book is in great condition and is absolutely perfect to help me in my classes to become an excellent writer.

I looked everywhere for Allyn and Bacon Guide to Writing Mycomplab. I thought I found it here on Amazon, but when I got the book it had no complab. Someone told me that they don't have the rights to sell the complab. I believe they should disclose that information.If they did I didn't see it. I am alittle irritated and alot of people from my class ran into the same situation as I. I gave it three stars because the service was quick and the book is new and in great shape. However, know that you are not getting mycomplab. You may still buy the book and purchase mycomplab on its own as I will have to. It will cost another 25 dollars.

used for upper division writing course supplemental material. provides examples of various styles and formats of writing. numerous sections. pick and choose materials.

I HAD A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE THIS TIME. BUT AMAZON HELPS ME OUT, I AM VERY VERY SURE I WILL GO TO AMAZON NEXT TIME IF I NEED ANOTHER BOOK.

This is an english composition textbook and there's nothing in the way of excitement going on here. I got an A in the course so there's not much to complain about otherwise.

The book came in on time and was in great condition... Very pleased with purchase

I tried to buy a used text for a few dollars less. The guy didn't know what he was doing and advertised and sent the wrong book! I didn't want to take any chances this time since classes had already been underway for 3 weeks. Bought the new text, still $20 cheaper than the campus bookstore and recieved it in 4 days with regular ground shipping.
