This book has some amazing maps and graphs and interesting analysis. It would be great for the classroom but is also an interesting read all on its own.

This review is from: The Allyn & Bacon Social Atlas of the United States (Paperback)
This is the first of its kind- an easily manageable, reader-friendly, colorful and creative, inexpensive book that covers a variety of topics as they pertain to the US population. Interesting and light enough to have as a coffee table book while providing a deeper layer for classroom studies in demographics and social geography, among others. Excellent layout, topic choices, and maps that illustrate the point! A fun and neat way to put the data and stats into understandable terms. Incredible...will there be more volumes on other topics?
