Product Description

NEW! Paprika is a kitchen staple that's easy-to-grow and process. One of the best paprika for drying, grinding, or picked straight from the prolific plants and eaten fresh. Thick-walled, sweet fruits start out creamy-white, then mature to orange, and finally red.

I originally gave this 3 stars but, after growing these last year - I have adjusted this to one star.

Started growing these indoors with heat mat and growing lights. Each and every seedling emerged within 7-10 days. Most lived long enough to be planted in my garden.

First of all, let me say I grow hundreds of pepper plants (Habanero, Cayenne, Jalapeno, J.Nardello, Bell & more). I have moderate to excellent success with all of them.

These Alma peppers however were my poorest performer in 2012. The plants were small, produced low to moderate yields, and the peppers grew extremely slowly. In addition, about 1/4 of these plants succumbed to some type of disease, AND (unlike all my other peppers) I found worms inside many of the peppers.

Not recommended at all.
