I never would have purchased it if i knew it has a big white bar at the bottom that says "VINCENT VAN GOGH" on it, in giant 3 inch letters.

This product is not quite what was pictured. The poster has a black border around the whole thing and at the bottom it says Vincent Van Gogh and some other text and that is like 6 inches on the bottom. It really effects the overall poster. It feels cheaper (of course a poster does look cheap in general) because of the black border and text at bottom it just looks different than if you had the image only on the poster.

Arrived quickly, but there were little tiny tears in many places across the bottom inch of the poster. Not sure how or why but luckily it doesn't show because of the frame I bought.

The poster is grainy and obviously a poster. Not something worthy of a frame, but that is reflected in the price. If you're looking for artwork to frame, choose a different copy of this. If you want it to tape to a wall of for some other reason, this price is great.

This is BS!! I ordered a TORQUIOS poster, not an UGLY, WASHED-OUT, LIGHT BLUE piece of crap!!! This color is beyond sorry! If you like the beautiful turquios color that appears to be in this poster, well you will be soarly disappointed! It's not even close to the color it looks like in the picture....NOT EVEN CLOSE!! DON'T BUY THIS! Why can't people just be honest?? And if for some reason scanning the picture changes it's original color to look like something totally different, then it surely should be noted in the selling of "said" picture! I based my whole stupid color scheme for my new bedroom around the color in this picture (or should I say the color it appears to be!). This really sucks! Not a happy consumer!

PAPER QUALITY
The paper quality is good, similar to any other poster I've owned.

COLOR
It is a little different than what you see on your computer screen (as is true with a lot of products). I would say it is a little less bright and is dark blue/green and less bright turquoise.

BORDER
I was happy to receive a non-bordered version. I don't know which version you'll get according to other commenter, but I received a poster without a white border and Van Gogh written on it.

PRICE
Can't beat the price. If you want a really high quality print (something to frame ect) this probably isn't it, but this is nice otherwise.

The quality of the posters is good. They use a thick paper that is good to the touch and the color saturation is deep and the posters bring the feeling of a living painting. I am very satisfied.

The shipping time was good. The posters were shipped separately because one of the posters was damaged and had to be reordered. They sent the first poster right away only three days after I ordered. When I inquired, through Amazon email, about the second poster the PosterArt costumer service person responded quickly and was helpful and extremely courteous. She traced my order and found out about the second poster being torn and causing a needed reorder from their supplier. She stayed in touch with me several times and let me know when the poster was shipped. I am pleased by their courteous and thorough attention.

Next time I order posters I will go through this company.

They must have modified this item since some of the reviews were written, because mine had no border or text underneath, just the image as pictured. I purchased the unframed version. The blue is a tiny bit lighter and less vibrant than in the pictures, but overall still looks pretty and sophisticated in the black frame I bought seperately.

the picture is beautiful. it arrived in a timely manner and the price was great (no shipping charge). the poster was enclosed in a sturdy tube, but whoever placed it in the tube must have hit several people over the head with it because right in the middle it has several creases that cannot be smoothed out. i wont be able to frame it. it was a waste of money and will cost more to send it back than what i paid for it.

Have you ever been in a boat in the middle of Lake Tahoe (or any other lake)? The water is so clear that you can almost see to the bottom. Except for the sounds of other people in boats and the horrible buzzing sound of wave runners, I would have been content to sit in the boat all day, staring at the blue green water until my eyes glazed over and my frantically busy mind calmed.

This poster evokes that feeling of peace and timelessness for me. I love it and I'm not a fan of flower paintings, or at least, I don't particularly care for them on my walls.

Some people who bought this poster received a different one than me, theirs had a black border with a label saying Vincent Van Gogh or some such similarly annoying border that interrupts the beauty of this artwork the way a radio announcer does when they talk over your favorite song. Mine was picture all the way to the edge. The picture was clear, I can't say how clear, I've never seen the original painting. I'm myopic (things close up are clear, but far away objects are blurry)so I leaned in close to look at this poster and I couldn't see anything terribly blurry.

There is a smeary quality to the painting, rather like looking at a picture through a vaseline smeared lense, but I've noticed that with all of Van Gogh's paintings. I think it is what makes his art so unique, as if every painting has been painted on a loose and watery surface. I'm no art historian, so I'm sure my opinions on this painting are rather simple and unsophisticated. I just love it and seeing it as I walk past it makes me happy.

This poster arrived very timely. I received it along with 6 other posters from the same shipment within four business days.

As for the picture, the coloring is a little off compared to what is on Amazon. Instead of the bright teal color, it is more of a computer generated greenish color. It still is great wall art when put inside of a black frame. Dimensions are proper. I hung this one over my master bed. Very calming, yet sultry at the same time.
