Book Description

May 1, 1997
Scripture records the existance of a miraculous rod that budded, producing blossoms and ripe almonds (Numbers 17:8). This same rod was used by Moses to part the Red Sea and by David in battle against Goliath. Hebraic sources link this miraculous rod to the Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden! From the Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden to the Crucifixion Tree on the Mount of Olives, the remarkable history of this miraculous almond rod is traced. Restoring Scripture to its Hebraic roots is the key to unlocking a deeper dimension and reveals ...

Jerusalem site of the original Garden of Eden Aaron's Rod a branch from Tree of Life The Biblical Holy Days God's prophetic timetable The Ineffable Name of God encoded in Pilates inscription The true timetable and location of the crucifixion and resurrection

A powerful masterpiece of revelation for the truth seeker believer or skeptic. Separates Biblical Truth from Religious Tradition.

Editorial Reviews

Review

...a good detective story....to fill in the blanks for the Greatest Story Ever Told....demonstrates that the prophetic patterns and timetables presented in Scripture clearly confirm that the Bible is the inspired Word of God....thought-provoking and compelling and a must-read for anyone desiring a more thorough understanding of God's provision for the redemption of His fallen creation....it will challenge your traditional views of the crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension of Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah... -- Lynn D. Leslie, The Christian Conscience, Des Moines, Iowa

...a scholarly, logical and sequential pattern of solid conservative theology. It is uniquely Scriptural in that it uses the internal evidence of Scripture as its greatest source of documentation...I found it to be a wonderful combination of deep thought, provocative insights and clear inspirational perceptions. It is superbly readable and delightfully retainable. -- Dr. Gerald S. Mills, Providence Presbyterian Church, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

This book is one of the greatest thought-provoking pieces available for any Jewish or Gentile Believer in Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah...Peter has done a masterful job in sharing his research with the reader, which not only clarifies key concepts in the Torah (first five books of the Bible) and in the Prophets, but also makes invaluable strides in restoring the Jewishness of the Gospel message, without which we will never have any hope of reaching the people of Israel with the God of Israel and His Messiah. -- Uri Marcus, Nehemiah Trustees Covenant Fund, Israel

5.0 out of 5 stars A refreshing piece of work, September 21, 1999

This review is from: The Rod of an Almond Tree in God's Master Plan (Mass Market Paperback)
You can not read this book through to the end and not see the truth that the Auther is trying to convey. With all his points backed up by scripture, and his credible education, the reader can rely on this book as a source of truth. I particularly enjoyed the part on Passover and the time table of Jesus death and reserection. Growing up in a home where we understood that Easter had peagan roots starting with the very name, I always thought that it didn't make sence that Christians did not celebrate Passover. In this book, I saw how the Catholic Easter is off on it's time table of Jesus last days and how passover has more to do with the death and reserection then the holiday Easter could ever have. I feel that Christians have been cheated out of their Heritage in the Jewish roots. Every Christian should read this book, and books like it that depict true Christian history, and what God's plan is for his people.

5.0 out of 5 stars Challenging and Iconoclastic, July 22, 2002

All believers in Yeshua (Jesus) as Messiah, Lord, and God-incarnate would benefit in their spiritual walk by reading this book. A great debate sparker (the Michas's have often been accused of "heresy" by so-called "fundamentalist" Christians) as it walks the reader through the fallacy of many pagan-based Christian traditions, pointing out an accurate timeline of events in of the events leading up to the Crucifixion using information contemporary to the time and culture of Yeshua (Jesus). Before you plan a pilgriamge to Jerusalem, read this book - it'll save you money, time, and make your trip a spiritual eye-opener.

Though often accused of giving too much credence to non-biblical writings the authors only use non-Scriptual sources (Midrash, Talmud, etc.) which support Scripture. Christians, do yourself a favour, read this book.

3.0 out of 5 stars Caused me to study, thankful for the research boost., July 7, 1998

I am so thankful for reading a book that opened so many old and new testament ideas for me. As a Christian, I feel I have missed out on the culture from the Jewish feasts and how they all point to my Lord! This book inspired me to get into the Word of God and seek him with all my heart. The bible is becoming so much more than I ever dreamed it was.
