This is a story about a poor Jewish family immigrating to England during the time of ghettos and the pograms of Eastern Europe. It depicts how their Jewish bond helps them through their struggles. This was a wonderfully written story and listening to the way it is read by Julia Franklyn makes it even more enjoyable.
