I don't usually listen to jazz, i suppose that's what you could class this album as, sunset room are a very unknown band, that now a days does not mean they are bad, your first impression may be that there are only 9 tracks on this cd but the sound quality and the detail on the songs are sublime. The opener, 'smoke' is a blend of moody and melodic fantasy of a womans desire while the following tracks sustain the album adrift along with your sober mind. I'd say the weakest tracks are the interlude which is a naughty addition and candlon, the ender which is a shame but
to compete with the rest of the album is a high target, a solid buy for both newcomers and fans of the genre. I hope this band make it big time like they deserve to.
