Hats off to The Ritz!,

For pulling off such a beautiful recording. This is different from their previous cds as it is a concept album of ballads, but it still shares the same creative arranging and technical precision of all their recordings. It is an impressive producing debut for Ritz member Melissa Hamilton, and she also handles most of the lead vocal duties. Some of the chordal passages are devastingingly beautiful. Especially check out This Lament and Elvis Costello's Almost Blue. They'll knock you out!

Lackluster; not the same after Broadley left,

I have to agree with the "dull" comment below. While the song list sounded great, the performances just lacked something, and that was lead singer/arranger Sharon Broadley. This was their first album without her and it showed.
