Dr. Connor Reynolds had better stay out of her way
As the new administrator at Blackberry Hill Memorial, Erin has more pressing issues to deal with than her late cousin's notorious husband. Such as how to keep the hospital solvent. How to make her adopted children feel safe and loved after her husband walked out on them. And why patients keep dying for no apparent reason.
If only she didn't need Connor's help. And if only he wasn't so good to her and the kids.

exciting medical romantic suspense thriller,

Divorced from her husband and having adopted three preadolescent children within the last ten months would be enough to send anyone over the edge. However merging into a family and relocating to start her new job as Blackberry Hill memorial Hospital Administrator seems nothing to Erin Lang compared to having Dr. Connor Reynolds on the staff. Back in college Erin was attracted to Connor, who became married to her now deceased cousin Stephanie. Worse she has a secret about one of her children that Stephanie made her swear to hide from Connor.
As Connor and Erin avoid their attraction to one another, she is concerned over the number of deaths at the hospital that should not have occurred. She begins to investigate only to place herself in jeopardy. Connor, who is so nice her children, tries to help her as he sees the trend too, but someone paints him in a negative light that leaves Erin to wonder if her heart could be so wrong about the man she loves. ALMOST A FAMILY is an exciting medical romantic suspense thriller that fans will enjoy though the culprit is in the reader's face. The story line is action packed but filled with plenty of angst over decisions made involving Stephanie. Connor and Erin are a fine pairing while the trio of children brings out the best in them. Fans of hospital romantic intrigue will want to read this fine tale. Harriet Klausner

Erin Lang has just moved to Blackberry Hill away from the big
city. She will be the new administrator of Blackberry Hill Memorial Hospital. She and her husband had decided to adopt children. However he wasn't able to cope with the stress and divorced Erin. She now has two boys named Drew and Tyler. Five months later she adopted Lily. She works hard at providing a home with love for them. It isn't easy but she has the experience to be a good administrator of the hospital. Here she meets Connor Reynolds who was married to a distant cousin of hers, who was killed in an automobile accident. He also went to college with her many years ago.He proves to be a very good Dr. and loves the children. He plays an important part in finding out the mystery of why patients are dying at the hospital. He finds out why Lily seems to be so familiar to him and he helps to solve the mystery of their missing dog Scout. We find that through heart ache and much pain Connor and Erin want to give as much love as they can to these children that have been through more than any child should have to go through and try to form a FAMILY. You will enjoy this book. It is mysterious and motivating.
